Project Overview

LMS Hub was built for institutions that sell their own courses. Two faces sit on one module base: a public storefront that turns visitors into students, and a locked dashboard where ten roles learn, teach, bill, and audit. The rating shown publicly is the same aggregate instructors see — there is no second CMS to keep in sync.

The Challenge

Training institutions rarely share the same org chart. Permissions hard-wired to roles are always too tight or too loose, while grades, money, and certificates demand an audit trail that holds up under scrutiny.

Scope of Work

• A per-person permission system: the role only prefills a module × action checklist, and every tick can then be adjusted
• Curriculum builder, course player, and a question bank with six question types
• Midtrans Snap payments plus a complete manual bank transfer lane
• Live classes via Zoom and BigBlueButton with attendance capture
• Affiliate commission engine, instructor revenue share, and staged payouts
• An audit log recording old and new values for every sensitive change

Key Features

• Ten roles from super admin to sub-user, with own-data scoping enforced in SQL rather than hidden in the UI
• Timed quizzes that autosave, so a dropped connection never destroys an attempt
• Grades held until release, and post-release changes require a recorded reason
• SHA-512 signed, idempotent Midtrans webhooks — duplicate notifications never double-grant access
• One-click manual transfer verification creates enrolment, revenue share, and commission in a single database transaction
• Self-service certificates with a public QR verification anyone can scan without an account
• Four languages including Arabic with a fully mirrored right-to-left layout

Technology

A Node.js, Express, and TypeScript backend on PostgreSQL with 91 tables and 269 REST endpoints; a Vue 3 TypeScript frontend. Shipped with three PDF manuals: system specification, installation guide, and an illustrated user guide.

Outcome

Institutions sell, teach, bill, and audit in one system, with every business parameter — default price, minimum deposit, instalment terms, revenue share, commission tiers, passing thresholds — living in Settings rather than in code.
