One App, Two Roles

LMS Hub Mobile is not two separate apps. When someone signs in, the app asks the server who they are and assembles the navigation that fits: a student gets five learning tabs, an instructor gets five teaching tabs. An account holding both switches mode from the More menu without signing out. The role is never chosen in the app — the server decides, and every request is still authorised on the backend.

The Student Side

Home shows active courses, completed courses, certificates and unread notifications, then a Continue Learning list whose button reads Start, Resume or Review depending on progress. The catalogue is searchable and filterable by category. The course player lays out sections and lessons, plays video or rich text, and stores the video position in seconds on the server — stop on the phone, continue on a laptop.

Quizzes That Do Not Punish Bad Signal

All six question types are supported. Answers autosave as you go, so a dropped connection, an incoming call or a closed app never loses the attempt. The countdown sits in the top corner and submits for you when it expires. Objective questions score instantly; essays wait for the instructor, and the mark appears only once released.

Certificates, Live Classes and Discussion

Once the progress, score and attendance thresholds are met, the student issues their own certificate — complete with a public verification QR — and shares it from the phone. Live classes open inside the app through Zoom or BigBlueButton, with attendance recorded. Course forums stay open even after a course is finished.

The Instructor Side

A KPI dashboard covering courses, students, rating, this month's earnings and pending payout. Plus their own course list, a cross-course grading queue for essays and assignments, a searchable participant list, and earnings reporting with payout status from request through to disbursement. All of it scoped to their own courses on the server, not hidden in the interface.

Technical Details You Feel Daily

Sessions are remembered: tokens live in the device's secure store (Keychain / Keystore) and are refreshed silently in the background, so nobody is thrown back to the sign-in screen halfway through a quiz. Four languages — English, Indonesian, Arabic, Hindi — with Arabic mirroring the entire layout right-to-left. The app name, logo and currency are read from the backend's settings, so rebranding needs no new build.

Flutter with go_router, provider and dio. One codebase for Android and iOS, 25 screens, plus three PDF manuals: system specification, a build-and-release guide for both stores, and an illustrated user guide.
